Over the holiday season, five newer, smaller scale paintings were included in a Michigan Avenue window display

Hopeful Abstraction, Sea Painting and Limelight are some of the works in a series I started on a more intimate scale, ten or weeks or so into pandemic lockdown, when it became clear I would need to find a way to paint my way through this. Isolated with my family in that quiet, frightening time, like so many of us fortunate to cocoon ourselves in safety. The scale of these Paintings is 31” x 31” up to 43”. The works are mounted onto board with an archival process and finished with a UV protectant archival finish.

This 42” x 42” diptych was in a show at The Arts Club of Chicago that opened weeks before Pandemic lockdown. What fun it was to celebrate in February 2020. I am looking forward to the 2022 Member Show which opens February 10, 2022 and runs through March 10, with 80 included member artists. 201 E Ontario. Proof of vaccination required.
