How to Move Through (it) – 25 Paintings, 2022

To create this series of twenty-five paintings, twelve of which were on view at the Leslie Wolfe Gallery October 1 - November 10, 2022, I engaged in a new process. In response to the call for this show, I pulled these ‘moments’ from a painting that was on my worktable when life demanded, in March 2020, that we halt the rhythms of our days. This artwork is a repair and a re-imagining. 100% of the sale of each piece (or intimate moment), supports the next iteration of Nos Nymphéas, a public art project which I began to bring into the world in my darkest pandemic time, and which I am thrilled to introduce at the opening of Art is / Always Will Be / Old Town. We plan to open this project in Chicago July - September, 2024.

To check out the ready-to-hang paintings and to learn about Nos Nymphéas, please visit the gallery or make a date to visit Danielle at our Old Town studio.
